Em Novembro escrevia neste Blog sobre "Os acorrentados", descrevendo a estratégia da Microsoft de interligar os seus produtos uns aos outros de tal forma que é difícil para um seu cliente seu mudar para outros produtos. Mas soube de um caso que eleva esta estratégia a um outro nível. Um cliente grande da Microsoft pediu-lhes uma proposta de renovação de contrato excluindo o Office. Recebeu a seguinte resposta: o preço dos nossos produtos sem o MS Office é MAIS 15 % do que o bundle completo...
Se isto não é abuso de posição dominante, o que é?
Entretanto, em debates públicos como o que ocorreu durante o Linux 2006 a Microsoft afirma que defende a Liberdade de Escolha...

Pelo visto a Microsoft, tenta que o Linux seja visto como um segundo sistema em que eles dizem que apoiam e que dão a opção de escolha, mas e tudo treta. O que eles mais desejam é que o Linux e a comunidade OpenSource desapareça.
Pode ser que quem desapareça são eles...
Cá em portugal os Tugas são uns copiadores, se o vizinho faz e tem sucesso o outro vai atrás.
Pode ser que tenhamos uma grande empresa que aposte no OpenSource e que faça bastante sucesso e os vizinhos o copiem.
E ai a Microsoft terá de pensar melhor...
